Rather than running around trying to find the new bits and additions, just check back here regularly. We'll keep a record of what changes are being made to these pages so you won't miss any news. Reverse date order: may 24th, 2001I just trashed the old artist presentation pages... Reading phrases like: "Arcana - one of our more mysterious new bands..." feels a bit silly. We will start fresh, concentrating on one artist at a time, with an "artist spotlight". This will include general info, pictures, interviews, complete discography etc. I also began working on the 'Artwork' pages - Expect a real treat soon. april 10th, 2001The new sounds pages are alive! 200mb of mp3's for your pleasure or pain. I will upload more as soon as we get some more disk space. march 3rd, 2001The Catalogue is complete, save a few track listings and release dates. Next project will be updating the side labels. The reviews section is also finished. Not too many entries yet but we'll work on that as well. The mail address webmaster@coldmeat.se now goes directly to me. God knows where it has lead for the last few years... february 22nd, 2001Archived old entries in the guestbook. It had grown to some 300k - a bit heavy. I also improved the navigation for the guestbook archive. february 21st, 2001The Catalogue is now up to date. CMI.50 through 92 also has presentational pages but some are still lacking release dates or track titles. Once the complete catalogue is fixed in this manner I will start adding band presentation pages, reviews and interviews. I am also investigating the various solutions for streaming audio as the audio page is terribly outdated. february 18th, 2001The search function is finally functional. Give it a try! february 12th, 2001The King is Dead - Long live the King... This site has a new webmaster. It is my intention get things moving here again. The first step will be to make the catalogue and band list up to date. january 26th, 1999The catalogue has been updated, and a new way of doing this more speedily has been deviced - updates should be much more frequent from now on, and releases will be presented there prior to their release date! Added one mp3 file to the sounds section, my personal favourite raison's "Falling Twilight" from the amazing CMI.57 album. january 21st, 1999Added the possibility for Karmanik, and others initiated, to add news on their own. Hence, from now on - the news page should be infinitely more interesting to keep an eye on. I also corrected a few errors. On the bands page, you will find links to their own pages, where they have one. In most cases the adresses are band.coldmeat.se - so far protagonist and sanctum are up and running. november 8th, 1997Since Raison's new album should be released by now, I added a real-audio clip from this amazing creation to the Sounds page. It's really a stunning disc, you should go get it right away. I'll be adding more clips in the days to come from Arcana's, Desiderii's and Soil Bleeds Black's albums, so check back for more. I touched up the Soil Bleeds Black's page as well and added a link to their official site - very informative one, check it out. To the mailorder page I also added some information on how to order discs from Cold Meat, as well as a butchered catalogue (get the complete catalogue by sending your address to us). The online ordering function is still a future task. Hmm, well, per request I'll be trying to make the pages less heavy (graphics wise) and I'll be chopping up the guestbook into smaller chunks for it to load faster. june 5th, 1997I have resumed working on these pages, hopefully they'll be completed fairly soon, bear with me. I added two more bands to the archive:bands section, Raison d'être and Deutsch Nepal. Also, under the help button up above, i added downloadable bookmarks. Feel free to use those. april 18th, 1997A better interface for the guestbook was implemented, it allows you to go back and change your entry before deciding to send it off. If someone was having problems with the contact form earlier, this has now been fixed and should work properly. Both these pages appear under the communication menu. The search engine for the mailinglist archive is up and running (hopefully properly), you find it under the search button in the header above. I also added a few new songs to the sounds (archive) page. Streaming for the real audio samples should be working by tomorrow. april 14th, 1997The guestbook under the communication menu has been completed, as has the contact form where you're able to reach, for starters, webmaster and kaptain Karmanik. I've put a bunch of samples on the sounds page (archive). This collection of sound snippets will be growing - send wish lists and I'll see what I can do. april 6th, 1997While waiting for servers and domains, a few pages was completed. Everything under the information menu is up and running. The back catalogue is also in place, and the reviews collection is starting to grow. february 21th, 1997Made this log.
