triumph of light and the 13 shadows of love - CMI.44

Heresy Magazine #2

Ordo Equilibrio are another of the brilliant, and blasphemous Cold Meat artists that seem to have great appeal within the Black Metal scene. The Triumph follows a path, similar to that forged on their debut, Reaping the Fallen album. The chimes of bells, the acoustic guitars, and the ever present industrial darkness have become signature elements of O.E. The droning quality of the vocals reminds the listener that there is no lust for life tunes here, and the macabre female vocals, united with the howling winds give an aura of otherworldedness. Defiant themes of Victory, and destruction of the weak are explored, and I have to say that The Triumph really does take the pieces from the debut just a little step further into the realms of completion, and grandeur... if that's the word for it. Ordo Equilibrio offer full, and dynamic tracks, and are perhaps a good band to start with, if there's interest in the dark-industrial realms. The Triumph is absolutely not to be ignored, and its sheer perversity will reign on. Soon... a 7" EP to be titled I4I.

Nordic Vision #9

A truly emotional and relaxing album, smooth and neatly floating forward and developing until it reaches the top. The music is beautiful and harmonic, bringing forth inner peace and relaxation to the soul.
