Yet one d'être!
Bloodless Creations third CD release Reflections from the time of opening MCMXCI comes from the masters of the pressing atmospheric ambience, Raison d'être. Originally, 8 tracks from the CD could be found on the rare tape release Conspectus, but an additional 5 previously unreleased tracks have been added for this release. Reflections... contains the first works by Raison d'être created back in 1991. The tracks have since been reworked in 1994 and 1997 to obtain the most superior sound quality available. Out now, available through Cold Meat!
 
Protagonist around the corner
The Protagonist, one of the impressive debutantes on the recently released sampler The Absolute Supper, is in the recording studio to complete his album hopefully before the end of the year, and it will be scheduled for release early 1998. Find out more about his music on his homepage.
 
Mental Destruction
Many missed Mental Destruction on the sampler The Absolute Supper. Don't fret, however, they will release an exclusive track on a limited picture 7" for the label AntZen. The single will be limited to 777 copies and the cataogue number is ACT77. Samuel says about the recording: "I am very satisfied with this as it is was written with this specific release in mind. We have promised AntZen a release for a long time, and after the response at last years Cold Meat Industry Festival, where the song served as opening in a different version, we decided to record it for this release. The people close to us, & the few artists we trust in judgement such as Sanctum, are all very fond of the song and consider it one of our best. Personally we are very happy with the result, without doubt one of the most foreboding, ecstatic and dark recordings we have made."
I, for one, am looking forward to hearing this one. Samuel also invites you to visit their own homepage where the first part of the photo gallery is now open with pictures from the legendary Deadly Actions Festval 1994, with stage photos of artists such as Genocide Organ, Anenzephalia and the fabulous Deutsch Nepal.

New releases
We can happily announce the release of two new discs. Raison d'être's latest opus In Sadness, silence and solitude CMI.57 is out - there is a real-audio taster in the Sounds section. Also, the new sampler The Absolute Supper CMI.50 has just been released. The latter will replace the old samplers Karmanik Collection, which is already out of stock and won't be re-pressed, and ...and Even Wolves of which there are only very few copies left. The double-CD contains more than 130 minutes of hitherto unreleased tracks from our bands. Bon appetit!
 
Forthcoming
In the nearest future there will be a new album out by Puissance, they're back in control! We will also re-issue the classic album by Cintecele Diavolui with a new digipak cover. We're also happy to announce a coming live event, and i quote straight from Mårten's posting to the mailinglist:

Autumn attractions
The new catalog is out now and on the way to all you who are clever enough to order directly from us. New releases include a new stunning CD from Raison d'être, and the new sampler double-CD Absolute Supper. Also, the LP-version of Arcana's Cantar de Procella is finally out, on white vinyl and limited to 1000 copies. Another vinyl release related to CMI is Necrophorus - Yoga 10" picture disc limited to only 315 copies, released on Raison's own new label Yantra Atmospheric. Get it before it's too late!!!
 
Ten year anniversary
This autumn, Cold Meat Industry is celebrating its ten year anniversary and we hereby invite you all to our anniversary party. It will be held on the 15th of November, at the club "Skylten" in Linköping. Doors open at 9 PM, and admission is 150 kronor. For pre-paid advance ticket orders, the upcoming compilation double CD The Absolute Supper will be included in the price - though not for tickets sold at the door. So what's going to be offered besides the chance to mingle with all your favourite bands? Well, exhibitions with all releases from day one, plus video screenings of different CMI live events. And the highlight of the night: live on stage Ordo Equilibrio and... Blood Axis, for the first time in Europe, and only the second time live ever. Don't miss the event of a lifetime!
 
Raison d'être
Next week the new Raison d'être album In sadness, silence and solitude will be out. The word among those who have heard the promo release is unanimous - this is Raisons's best release so far! The Apres nous le deluge tape-rerelease will be further delayed. As it has been delayed already for some time we thought it would be better to get his new marvellous material out first, the tape can wait. There will be another Raison CD out with older material on an Australian label called Bloodless Creations.
 
Brighter Death Now
Next BDN will be a double-LP titled May all be dead. Mors Vobiscum will be the follower to Necrose Evangelicum (trilogy?), but there's no date to that yet. There will however be some live albums out next year, on CD for Heelstone and maybe a LP on Tesco, as well as a couple of 7", one for Self Abuse and the other on Membrum Debile Propaganda. Also, Roger has now officially stopped doing live-shows and giving interviews.

The new catalogue will this time carry some of the information the newsletters used to have, so for the future we will try to do the newsletter & catalog all in one.

Short note
Just wanted to forward the piece of information saying that Mortiis will be performing at the projekt label's The Expo of the Extreme this halloween weekend. The venue for this event is Chicago's Congress Theater. From the newsletter; "...featuring two stages and bands playing dark music ranging from Death Metal to darkambient and from Punk to darkwave, goth...". There's also rumours of a Mortiis US Tour later this fall. The projekt website might have more info (www.projekt.com).

Release note
Desiderii Marginis' debut full length album is out as of now. It's called Songs over Ruins and bears the catalogue number CMI.56. Contact us if interested (info@coldmeat.se). Also, as there has been some questions about this, Archon Satani will be releasing a double CD of early material from around the Beyond all Sickness (LP) days when Tomas (now Ordo Equilibrio) was a member. Other than that, Archon Satani will most probably be an ended chapter and focus will be put on the respective projects (Ordo Equilibrio and Inanna (Mikael). Speaking of the latter, there will be a re-issue of Inanna's double-cassette on Sound Source, released later this year, hopefully.

Recent and upcoming releases
Finally, on Cruel Moon, the double LP The kingdom & its Fey of ...The Soil Bleeds Black is out. It sports five more tracks than the CD. Next up on Cold Meat are the two CDs Cantar de Procella, CMI.55, by Arcana and Songs over ruins, CMI.56, by Desiderii Marginis. Also, some news on the forthcoming compilation The Absolute Supper, CMI.50, that will delete both CMI.20 and CMI.30. It will contain both new exclusive tracks and 1 already released on fullength CDs. Which bands that will be on it is not decided yet, nor is the time of its release. It will however be a double CD at single CD price. Line-up so far is: In Slaughter Natives, Protagonist, Ordo Equilibrio, Sanctum, Puissance, Arcana, Ildfrost, Nacht, Sephiroth, Raison d'être, Desiderii Marginis, Mortiis, Archon Satani + more to follow shortly.

Festival
Here's some info on the "Nights of the Abyss" festival in Waregem, Belgium on Friday the 25th and Saturday the 26th of July. The line-up: Friday: Brighter Death Now, PAL and Deutsch Nepal; Saturday: Arcana, Raison d'être, The moon lay hidden beneath a cloud and In Slaughter Natives. Tickets should be available now. Recently released vinyls
Today we can happily announce that the two vinyl 7" has hit the streets: CMI.53 · Puissance · Totalitarian Hearts on red vinyl, limited to 880 copies; and CMI.54 · Ordo Equilibrio · I4I picture disc, limited to 1313 copies. We're going public
We just got our domain name registered, and www.coldmeat.se is hereby on the road! There are still a few pieces of this site missing, but those will be added in the very near future. Keep your eyes on the updates page where information about all new additions will be duly posted.

New releases, available now!
The limited vinyl version of Mental Destruction's Straw, CMI.47, has been released. There are no different tracks, but a great looking picture, same as on the CD-label. It is limited to 300 copies, so hurry with you order! Ildfrost's followup to their debut, the new album called Natanael, CMI.51, was just released. It comes with a special kind of gatefold cover, a little like the old LP's, with an inserted booklet containing lyrics/literature by G Appolonaire, Samuel Beckett, Oscar Wilde and Jens Petter Nilsen. Arcana has a new mini album out, Lizabeth, CMI.52. It contains three songs, two of which are to be included on an upcoming album and one is exclusive for this release. A great taster, limited to 3000 copies.

Next up for release
Two vinyl 7"s are around the corner, from Puissance and Ordo Equilibrio: called Totalitarian hearts, CMI.53, and I4I, CMI.54, respectively. The former will be limited to 880 copies, scheduled for release on the 20th of april, and the latter is a picture disc, limited to 1313 copies, scheduled for the last of april. On our side label Cruel Moon, ...the Soil Bleeds Black has their debut album The Kingdom and its Fey planned for release on the 14th of april. An LP version will be released at a later date, containing 5 extra tracks.

We bid you welcome,
to this updated, and now completely official, version of the Cold Meat Industry web site. If you were with us during the life of the previous page, you'll recognize a lot, but there should be news as well. The most obvious change is of course that we now have an online mailorder catalogue. Furthermore, this time around we should be able to give you first-hand news and updates, keeping you up to date with what's going on at Cold Meat and our side-labels. 1997 should prove to be an interesting year, stay with us and drop by oftenly.

Recent and upcoming releases
We just released two new and much anticipated albums; Ordo Equilibrio's Triumph of light, and thy thirteen shadows of love, CMI.44, and Deutsch Nepal's Comprendido! - time stop, CMI.49. Upcoming releases include Ildfrost's second album Natanael, CMI.51, due soon. Also in the releaseplan for the first half of 1997 are Desiderii Margini's album Songs over ruins, Arcana's followup Cantar de Procella - Song of the storm (also LP) and Ordo Equilibrio's limited picture 7" I 4 I. Furthermore, we're looking at new releases from Mortiis, The Stargate (CD/DLP) and two updated rereleases of our old Sound Source tapes from Inanna, Ouveres Complete (limited DCD) and Raison d'être, Aprés nous de luge. Brighter Death Now's LP of old, Pain in Progress will also be rereleased on CD. Archon Satani has a limited double CD in the works.

Cruel Moon
On our recently started side-label Cruel Moon, things are starting to get very interesting. The first CD was just released; The Venus Bellona by the american band Proscriptor. Interesting and weirdly appealing dark medieval sounds, occultic and atmospheric folk music. Upcoming releases include ...The Soil Bleeds Black's debut CD (also DLP) The Kingdom & its Fey and Cernunnos Woods, CD and LP coming soon.
