Heathen Harvest Featuring no less than member(s) of Storm of Capricorn, and having worked with (and performed in the same vein) as French Martial act Westwind, this album bears every hallmarks of a modern day classic.
There isn't much more to say when an album is dedicated to the victims of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The slide into a dark, archaic oblivion begins with Perpetual Symposium, a very distorted dark electronic number, which can only sound like Die Form, on a very very bad trip.
"Humanity as a Carrion" stands out as an immediate highlight here, being a perfect cocktail of Electronica, leaving a wonderful Icy feel, at the same time as making the listener really sit up and take notice. I impore other acts to do the same.
The link to Westwind isn't superficial, either. The diversity and dark lore uttered on "The Bunker" is almost recreated here, so to speak, with Neon Rain producing Ten tracks, each different and promising enough to make this a firm favourite for all listeners of Noise, Ambience, and Martial Industrial alike.
Truly obnoxious, in the best way possible. - HEATHEN HARVEST
