Finally out a definitive tribute to the many years of activity of these Italian minstrels! Ataraxia and Future Insights have decided to release a collection dedicated to the water, one of the most significant springs of the band's inspiration. For this reason, a collection of 14 remastered atmospheric songs carefully chosen by the band among more than 150 songs written and released by the band in their history. Only songs that have a deep meaningful link with the watery substance were picked and thus the achieved atmosphere is one of a dreamy, intimate, flowing soundtrack for solitary moments spent in front of the Ocean and the Mediterranean sea lost in the hypnotic rhythm of the up and down of tides in a contemplative nostalgic state. "A Calliope... Collection" is a sort of visionary "static voyage" consciously far from sounds made of stone, historical research and gloomy nuances present in many other Ataraxia songs.
"A Calliope" is also a felt homage to the muse of Heroic Chant who has provided this ensemble with lively inspiration for many years in the past and hopefully to come and to the great Greek poetress Sappho who, like a pale shining moon, managed to achieve the highest beauty in lyric poetry.
